You know I love leopard and I loved this look on Ciara. Cute, yet comfortable is the motto I live by. Plus, it gave me a chance to wear this kimono that's been collecting dust in my closet for almost two years!

I love to look through magazines and browse the Internet for all things fashion. Any look that inspires me or I absolutely love gets bookmarked or sticky noted. From that, I get ideas about different ways to wear items in my closet and sometimes it motivates me to go and find similar (and sometimes, the same) items. I hope this inspires you :)

Coat Dress
Honestly, I just wanted a coat dress. I'm pretty sure it's the only form of clothing that I've never had in some form or fashion. I added boots to my outfit because I didn't like how my skinny legs looked in stiletto heels!

SweatDress
I've noticed that Rihanna wears sweatshirts (and sometimes track jackets) as dresses a lot. In my case, if it truly is marketed as a sweatshirt, I wear it as a such, with pants/leggings/skirts that are also visible! I've had this sweatshirt dress for 4 years now, and I have only worn it twice. The weather in SC is kind of weird, so it's either too cold or too hot to wear, and this sweatshirt dress definitely holds heat. But after seeing Rihanna repeatedly in hers, I decided to pull this back out and add my otk boots to dress it up a bit.

I zeroed in on the two looks above from Lupita and Kendall, and promptly snatched up every article of blue clothing I could find. Below is a collection of my light blue looks from the past year. (I've really fell behind on updating my blog!!)

Ponchos and Capes
So I tried wearing a poncho before and I liked it but....I decided ponchos weren't for me. Well, after seeing this one above on Olivia Palermo (and others), I thought I'd give it another shot. As far as the cape trend, I do really love it, and of course seeing Kerry and Solange in their versions inspired me to try it in a way that was comfortable and wearable for my everyday life. (Side note, I loved the cape outfit I wore!) See pics below.
